1 — About Us
Bring Back The Hobby (BBTH) is operated by Moneyball Sports Co. LLC. We are a trading card reseller specializing in sealed packs, singles, and supplies. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Panini, Topps, Upper Deck, Leaf, The Pokémon Company, Konami, or any other trading card manufacturer. We simply purchase and resell their products.
2 — Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase on BBTH. By completing a purchase you confirm you meet this requirement.
3 — Products and Condition
All packs and products are sold as new and sealed unless explicitly stated otherwise. We source inventory from various suppliers and distributors. While we never reseal packs ourselves, if a customer receives a pack with clear evidence of tampering or resealing we will honor our return policy. We make no guarantee regarding the contents, rarity, or value of cards found inside sealed products. Low value pulls, short prints, and missing cards within factory sealed packs are the responsibility of the manufacturer and are not grounds for a return or refund.
4 — Returns and Refunds
We accept returns only in the following cases:
- —The item arrived physically damaged in transit
- —The pack or box shows clear evidence of resealing or tampering
All return requests must be submitted within 14 days of the delivery date confirmed by tracking. To initiate a return contact us at bringbackthehobby@gmail.com with photos or video evidence.
We will cover return shipping costs for approved returns. Refunds will not be issued until the item is received back and inspected. If the returned item is missing contents or shows additional damage not present in the original claim, we reserve the right to deduct the appropriate amount from the refund.
The following are NOT grounds for a return or refund:
- —Low value cards inside a sealed pack
- —Missing cards or short prints inside a factory sealed pack — this is the responsibility of the manufacturer
- —Buyer's remorse or change of mind
- —Opened packs or singles — all opened product is final sale
5 — Shipping Damage
If your order arrives damaged in transit, contact us within 14 days with photos. You may choose to return the item for a refund or accept a partial refund and keep the item. We file shipping insurance claims with USPS on all eligible orders (up to $100 coverage). Our return and refund process will not be delayed pending the insurance claim outcome.
6 — No Gambling Promotion
Trading card collecting is a hobby meant for fun. BBTH does not promote or endorse pack opening as a form of gambling or investment. Card values fluctuate constantly and we are not responsible for changes in market value. Please never spend more than you can comfortably afford.
7 — Payments
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment information. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All prices are in USD.
8 — Shipping
We handle and ship all orders ourselves using Shippo and our carrier partners. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Free shipping is available on orders over $100. Once a package is handed off to the carrier we are not responsible for carrier delays. All shipments include tracking.
9 — Account and Data
By creating an account you agree to provide accurate information. We track order history, repurchases, rewards points, and email address for order and shipping communications. We do not sell your personal information. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time.
10 — Rewards Program
Rewards points have no cash value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. Points may expire or be revoked at our discretion. Rewards program terms may change at any time.
11 — Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the item in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
12 — Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to cancel orders, refuse service, or terminate accounts at our sole discretion.
13 — Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
